Meet the Hosts:

Jay "The Primo" Pagliaro

The Primo: Jay Pagliaro A multi-sport athlete growing up, Jay Pagliaro always has been known for his gift of gab, sports knowledge and wittiness. While he was known during his scholastic years for many reasons, his classmates at Claysburg Kimmel High School (PA) all agreed that Jay was destined to be in sports commentary, predicting (in his senior yearbook) that he would go on to become an announcer for his favorite sports team, the Miami Dolphins. While that prediction and dream is still being worked on, Jay has blazed his own path in broadcasting. He got his start at a young age, in 1991 at just 12 years; where he was a weekly correspondent on a radio show hosted by MLB legend Pete Rose. From there, Jay attended Penn State University, where he received added mentoring in broadcasting from award winning authors and broadcasters. During his time at Penn State, he also served as sports editor of the school's newspaper, helped launch an on campus radio station, and worked alongside the university's athletic teams as a sports reporter. During this period, Jay also worked at a sports radio station in Altoona, PA where he served as a behind the scenes, technical role and was a regular fill in host on the station's daily sports talk radio show. In 2005, Jay also was selected to participate in a week-long professional broadcasting internship in Los Angeles, CA; where he received further invaluable mentoring from several of the top sports broadcasters in the business, did play-by-play for the Los Angeles Clippers summer league team, and also got to tape a demo for a Los Angeles Angels baseball game. During his week in LA, Jay also tried out for the former TV show "Dream Job," where he fared extremely well in all of the competitions and was one of the finalists in the Los Angeles region. Following his graduation from Penn State, Jay went on to host sports talk programs in Salt Lake City, Tampa, and Phoenix, where he has been since 2013. Along with hosting sports talk radio shows, he also works on the side as a commentator and emcee of sporting events. When not sharing his encyclopedic knowledge of sports, as well as gift of wit and gab on air or at an arena near you, Jay enjoys spending valuable time with those who matter most to him; his wife Amber, and their two children, Braden and Taylor.
