Vince D’ Aliesio: Vince “Coach D” D’Aliesio, grew up in Central Phoenix, spending nearly half his adult life coaching the game he loves at nearly every level, football! Vince was an undersized offensive linemen at Camelback High in the 80’s, a team captain, later playing football at Scottsdale Community College and also attending Paradise Valley Community College. Vince takes pride in being a product of the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD). Vince returned to Camelback as an unpaid freshman assistant as a college undergrad for his first football coaching job for the late Pete Kellen, later graduated from ASU, and continued this journey through eight high schools and three colleges. Vince also worked at Buena Vista College NCAA3 (Storm Lake, IA), Arizona State University, Ganesha High (Pomona, CA), North High, South Mountain, Brophy College Prep, Northpointe, St Mary’s, and Phoenix College as the Assistant Head Football Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Offensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, and a brief stint at Sunnyslope High, before deciding to return to school for a Master’s degree. Vince has a Pac-10 Championship Ring as a result of spending two seasons as a graduate assistant coach under the late Bruce Snyder, in what is arguably the most exciting and memorable season in ASU Football history, 1996. Vince earned a Master’s degree in Education from Northern Arizona University, and is currently the color commentator for Ottawa University NAIA Arizona Football, and does play by play for the men’s and women’s basketball programs. Vince also does color commentary for the Hohokam Junior College Athletic Conference Football teams. Vince is the PA announcer for Camelback High School and Campo Verde High School. Vince is married with three teenagers, and is a town councilmember in Carefree, Arizona. Vince is also a member of the Phoenix Union High School District Sports Hall of Fame Selection Committee and the Arizona American Italian Club.
