The Phoenix Suns will join 23 other teams at the 2015 Samsung NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on UNLV’s campus.

Headlining the July 10-20 summer league are 14 playoff teams from this season that include the current conference final participants in the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks. In addition, nine teams that are currently in the May 19 NBA Draft Lottery are also scheduled to participate. Plus, the Sacramento Kings will take part as they look to defend last year’s title.

Each team will compete in three preliminary games July 10-14. After those games are completed, the teams will be seeded in a tournament format. Every team is guaranteed to play in a minimum of five games. The championship game will be held July 20.

In year’s past the summer league has showcased current NBA MVP Stephen Curry, former MVP Kevin Durant and this year’s Rookie of the Year Andrew Wiggins. Some other notable stars who have honed their skills in the summer league include Golden State’s Draymond Green, Sacramento’s Ben McLemore and Ray McCallum and Houston’s Dontas Motiejunas.
