TEMPE, Ariz. — ASU kicker Zane Gonzalez set the FBS record for career field goals in ASU’s victory over UCLA last weekend. Gonzalez has been kicking for the Devils since his freshman year and made his 89th field goal of his career. That field goal also was the difference in the Sun Devils’ 23-20 victory over the Bruins. Gonzalez talked about breaking the record and his role as a leader on this team.
The Sun Devils are now 5-1 and tied for a share of the lead in the Pac-12 South. They travel to Boulder, Colorado this weekend to play Colorado, who also is tied for first place in the South.
